Full payment is required to guarantee a spot on our calendar. Discussing your order does not mean you are booked in with us until we have confirmed your order and full payment has been made. If payment is not received within 3 days of receiving a quote, the spot will be given to someone else, and you will need to check back to see if that date is still available.
Late pick-ups are subject to a $10 late fee if no notice is given in advance or if you inform us of your late arrival after your scheduled pick-up time. We allow a 15-minute grace period, but any pick-ups later than that will require rescheduling. Please be respectful of our time, as late pick-ups can disrupt other orders and commitments.
Cancellations must be made at least five days in advance to be eligible for a 50% refund. If any date changes need to be made, we will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee availability. Each custom-made cake requires careful planning, time, and sourcing of ingredients, which is why we are unable to offer full refunds.
Butter & Bean is not liable for any damages caused by the client (e.g., improper handling and storage, during transportation, etc.) once the order is out of our care. Please note that high temperatures and direct sunlight may negatively affect your product, such as appearance and taste. Properly store your cakes and treats in a cool area away from direct heat, sunlight, or in the fridge, as required.
All products are made in a home-based kitchen that contains food allergens: gluten, dairy, peanuts, eggs, and other nuts. For this reason, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free product. It is the client’s responsibility to inform their guests of any allergy risks. By reading this and placing your order, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions.
